Comfort Ezegula, pictured below is battling skin cancer and may lose it all any moment if the N500,000 she seeks doesn't get to her soon enough. According to her family members who are reaching out to us for urgent help, Comfort is a mum of 4 kids. She used to support her family as a hairdresser. Unfortunately, the business has now closed down.
Her ailment had started like a boil near her left ear in 2004 during one of her pregnancies. Comfort's husband, Mr. Ferguson tells me they first went to the General Hospital, Lagos where it was discovered to be skin cancer. Doctors there referred them to UCH Ibadan where it was treated using chemotherapy and radiotherapy. But in 2010, sadly, the sickness resurfaced again by the side of her forehead. Comfort went back to UCH Ibadan for another treatment but this time, the doctors couldn't do it. And after 2 years there, she was referred to another hospital - the National Hospital Abuja in 2012 where she has been until April this year 2014 when things changed for the worse. Presently, according to the doctor's report, the cancer tumor in her brain has caused her a loss of memory.
The amount Comfort requires right now for an urgent surgery is Three hundred and fifty thousand naira (N350,000) but other expenses and other material which might be required made it N500,000. So her family and friends are making a passionate appeal for donations. Comfort is truthfully in a critical state and needs our support.
