First male to emerge best graduating student at Redeemer’s University!

For the very first time since the Redeemer’s University, Mowe, Ogun State,a male student, Adeloye David, has emerged the best graduating student of the institution. Female students had dominated the academic hall of fame of the institution beating their male counterparts to the coveted award in the first three convocations of the university. The university had graduated three sets of students since 2009 when a female student emerged the best graduating student. In 2009/2012 academic session, another female, Miss Oguntulu Motunrayo with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.89 out of a possible 5.0, won the award. The girls continued their winning streak during the 2010/2011 convocation when Oluwadamilare Ayomide with a CGPA of 4.96 won the award to bag a first class degree in computer science.  But Adeloye reversed the order last Saturday when he emerged the best graduating student of the institution. The Ilesa-born lad, who achieved this feat by obtaining a CGPA of 4.87 out of a possible 5.0, had therefore made history as the first male student to emerge the best graduating student of RUN.  Adeloye, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Debo Adeyewa said, had saved the boys from the annual shame. He did not just emerge the best; Adeloye also went home with six other prizes during the 4th convocation of the faith-based university.
