Nigerian Girl Dies In Bangkok After Attempting Buttock Augmentation

Joy Willaims, a 23-year old Nigerian girl has left her families in sorrow after travelling to Bangkok this month for a buttock augmentation without their consent.

Joy travelled to Bangkok with £2000 to have the surgery at SP clinic which turned out to be a success at first, but shortly after that, it turned out that her wounds had already become infected.

A 22-Year Old Girl Kills Man Who Tried To Rape Her

An unidentified suspected rapist has been killed in the Lekki area of Lagos State while attempting to rape a 22-year-old woman, Ifeoma Okechukwu.

It was learnt that the incident happened on Monday, around 12.30pm, in Atlantic View Estate, Alpha Beach Road, Lekki.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Okechukwu was on her menstrual period and had gone out to buy sanitary pads.

The Imo State indigene was said to be on her way back home when she was accosted by the stranger.

Oshiomhole To Drag EFCC To Court For Abandoning Constitutional Role & Becoming A ‘Political Commission’

Edo State Governor, Com. Adams Oshiomhole yesterday at a townhall meeting in Benin has said he is preparing to drag EFCC to court for allegedly abandoning its constitutional role and becoming a ‘political commission’.

Shop owners and residents along Bariga Road, Bajulaiye, Somolu, Lagos have been trying to locate the family of a homeless old man who has been sleeping on a refuse dump in the area since Saturday.The aged man, whose name had yet to be known, had been lying beside a dump on Bajulaiye canal, Somolu since Saturday afternoon.

A 13-year-old British boy was assumed to be the father of a young girl born to his 15-year-old girlfriend, making him the youngest father in the country’s history. Now, after DNA tests confirmed he isn’t the father, the real dad is speaking out.

Maisie Roxeanne was born to 15-year-old Chantelle Steadman, and at the time, 13-year-old Alfie Patten believed he was the father. The young teen initially feared that he would be in trouble when his mother found out he fathered a baby and that the public would judge the couple for keeping it.

Pregnant woman, six others roasted to death, 11 injured on Lagos-Ibadan expressway

 Seven people, including a pregnant woman and a baby, were, weekend roasted to death, while five officials of Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency TRACE, and an unspecified number of traffic police were injured by hoodlums at Kara, along Lagos/Ibadan expressway.

The accident, which involved an 18-seat bus, occurred at about 3.30pm as the vehicle, which took off in Lagos reportedly went up flames.

Vanguard gathered that the commercial bus painted in white colour, with blue stripes suddenly developed leakages on the fuel tank, which spilled its contents.

Teenage Boy Sentenced To Nine Years In Jail For Killing Girlfriend, Aged 15

A teenage boy who shot his girlfriend dead on his birthday has been sentenced to nine years' detention for her manslaughter.

Shereka Fab-Ann Marsh, 15, was hit in the neck by a single bullet from a fake 1930s Italian Beretta pistol which the boy was looking after in a mire of 'violent gang confrontation', a court heard.
The 15-year-old boy - who cannot be named due to his age - was cleared of murder after jurors hears he loved Shereka and fired the gun by accident.
But the jury convicted him of manslaughter and possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Judge Charles Wide told the Old Bailey it was plain from the evidence that he had been pointing the gun at Shereka to 'frighten' her.

According to a report by Human Rights Watch, the damage done to girls and women abducted by Boko Haram was revealed.

He soon began to threaten me with a knife to have sex with him and when I refused, he brought out his gun, warning that he would kill me if I shouted.

“Then he   began to rape me every night … I had never had sex before; it was very painful and I cried bitterly because I was bleeding afterwards.”

How Police Officer was rendered blind after assualt by Naval Rating

A Police officer who served in the Nigeria Police Force for about 30 years has been rendered blind by a naval rating. The plan of ASP Emmanuel Mbilla(before/after above)was to retire in 2018 after which he would set up his own private security firm.
However, Emmanuel’s dream was cut short on February 22, 2014 after a life-changing encounter with a naval rating, Warrant officer Unaji Enejor, in the Kirikiri area of Lagos State.

Punch reports that the 50-year-old victim was attacked in the eye by the naval rating, causing him to lose his sight completely.It was learnt that prior to the attack, Emmanuel’s left eye had already been damaged by Glaucoma.

The victim’s landlady, Mrs. Olasumbo Agunbiade, who witnessed the incident, told our correspondent that trouble started after Enejor drove recklessly and rammed into Emmanuel’s wife’s shop.
