They pleaded not guilty to the charges when they were read to them.

The Lagos state Police command has rescued the current Miss Nigeria International 2014 & daughter of an aide to Kwara state Governor, Miss Sa'adat Bibire, who was abducted two weeks ago by a gang of kidnappers who deceived her to come to Warri, Delta state from Lagos after they promised to make her the ambassador of the Aliko Dangote brand.

The gang, made up of students of the Delta state Polytechnic Ozoro, had opened a Facebook account disguising as Aliko Dangote and contacted Sa'adat. They invited her to Warri with the promise to make her Dangote brand ambassador. On getting to Warri, Sa'adat was kidnapped and taken to a place on the outskirts of Ozoro town in Isoko Local Government Area in Delta state. The kidnappers then contacted her family and asked for N20m ransom, which was supposed to be paid into a Malaysian account.

Nigerian Man Abuchi Ngwoke Sentenced to Death for Drug Trafficking in Malaysia

A 35-year-old Nigerian man named Abuchi Ngwoke was sentenced to death yesterday by a Malaysian High Court for drug trafficking.

The accused was arrested in 2012 at a Malaysian airport after being caught with 251.66 grams of Methamphetamine according to Sahara Reporters. He had reportedly swallowed gemstones in Nigeria prior to getting on the flight to Malaysia.

The execution date is yet to be announced.

A 24-year-old man arrested for burglary has said that he steals only on Sundays by breaking into his neighbours’ homes after they had gone to their various churches.

Kelechi Ikechi, from Abia State, was arrested on Sunday after he broke into his neighbour’s flat to steal in Ejigbo area of Lagos. He allegedly confessed to the police that he broke into Peter Ibeh’s house at Afolabi Obe Street, Ejigbo to steal.

A 10-year-old boy, Usen Okon, who was thrown into the Imo River in the Ikot Abasi area of Akwa Ibom State, by his aunty over witchcraft accusation, has survived the ordeal.

According to PUNCH, Okon was under the care of his paternal aunt, identified simply as Ekaeyen, at Etebi community in the Esit Eket Local Government Area of the state as his parents had died. A few days ago, Okon was aroused from sleep by Ekaeyen who took him to her husband and asked him to confess to being a wizard. When Okon denied the witchcraft accusation, his aunt threatened to throw
him into a river.

Amazing Story: Twins welcome sons on the same day

According to UK Mirror, the twins were initially shocked when told their partners had the same due date of November 26, but neither believed they would both be celebrating on that date. But remarkably, the pair became fathers within a few hours of each other when their sons were born at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton in the early hours of Monday.

Woman Abducts Four Kids Within 30mins Of Starting Her Job As An Assistant Teacher

A woman simply identified as eleha (woman in purdah) last Tuesday November 18, 2014 disappeared with 4 kids at a neighbourhood home lesson in Idi-Omo area of Ibadan, Oyo State. And according to Tribune, the children are yet to be found till the writing of this report today.

The four missing children, whose names were given as Abdulsalam Aderibigbe, Abigail Adegunju, Chidiebere and Onyiyechukwu were reportedly taken away by the eleha who disguised as someone in need of an employment. She struck within 30 minutes of starting her job as a lesson assistant.

The 33-year-old proprietress of  Mrs Kafayat Olatubosun, has described the incident which led to the disappearance of the four pupils in her care as one that is like a devil stalking her, after which he crept in and struck.
